From 2001-2003, I was the Web Administrator for SAFE KIDS Worldwide (formerly the National Safe Kids Campaign).
In 2004, I was a Junior Graphic Designer in the University of Maryland Office of Marketing and Communications.
From 2005-2008, I was a Senior Graphic Designer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.
From 2008-2011, during my child's infancy, I freelanced for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and supported local businesses in North Carolina.
From 2011-2016, I was a Senior Graphic Designer in the Virginia Tech Office of Marketing and Communications.
Since 2016, I have provided freelance design support for Virginia Tech, Sweet Briar College, Hamilton College, and the Virginia Alliance for Semiconductor Technology.
In 2023, I broadened my expertise to include accessible InDesign, PowerPoint, PDFs, and graphics for Capital Group and Chax Training and Consulting.
In 2025, I earned my CPACC certification (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies).
